Manifestation and “The Secret” – What is Missing?

In this series of articles I am going to write about some key elements of manifesting using the Law of Attraction. These are the elements that clever marketers of the “The Secret” accidentally forgot to mention. They have presented only the physical/worldly part of “The Secret”, and they did not even mention the esoteric/spiritual part.

The real manifesting secret of “The Secret” is in the right brain frequencies.

What do I mean by that? Just read on. But first a little bit of theory that is essential for your right understanding of “The Secret”.

The practice of “Secret” has a profound spiritual aspect that only rare individuals reach. Spiritual is something that transcends the individual, it connects the individual with the whole, with the Absolute. The truth is that we are always Absolute in our essence, in the deepest part of our consciousness we are the same.

But on the surface, in our everyday mind and in our everyday lives we are enslaved by the content of the individual mind. And this content gives us a illusion of separation from the whole. And we accept all of this as a “real” reality we live in. We are so identified with this illusion that we can not act as a whole and use the same potential of creation as the Absolute.

Let me repeat that in bold letters just in case you missed it.

We are so identified with this illusion that we can not act as a whole and use the same potential of creation as the Absolute/whole.

And this potential is rightly ours to use. Why? Because nothing can be different from the Absolute and its potentials, including us! Yes, you and me too. We act in this world with a little bit of physical strength that is in our body. And we act with our mind that is limited with senses and conditioned by public opinion, propaganda, “scientific” laws, taboos, religious beliefs or implants.

I have found one of the ancients teaching that provides the frame for understanding the law of attraction. In this teaching the Absolute Spirit only by the virtue of its existence causes the existence of physical universe and all of the life energy in it. On a lower cosmic plane Absolute Spirit resides in the starts, and by the virtue of theirs existence they cause planetary systems to exist. On an even lower plane Absolute Spirit resides in the in the individual soul of a human, as a spiritual essence of a man.

And so the Absolute Spirit as supreme attractor causes forming and moving of all life energy on planets through a conscious subject – through man. Through you! We see this flowing of energy on a planet as civilization and events. Man attracts everything because of his divine essence that causes all existence and is the supreme attractor. Man does not attract everything because his ego wants to create reality. No.

In quantum physics experiments it is noticed that energy as pure potential transforms into subatomic particle only if observers are present. Only if people are present. Do you remember that the Absolute Spirit only by the virtue of its existence causes the existence of physical universe. Hmmm.. When people are not present in the experiment there is no creation of subatomic material particle. Physical reality shows itself only in front of conscious observer. The presence of conscious subject causes the physical world to exist.

That’s why when you go to sleep, when the subject is unconscious, the physical world stops existing. But because there are a lot of conscious subjects (people) that collectively cause and form the physical reality this reality stays independent (in a way) from sleeping individual. In simple terms – reality exists even when you go to sleep because there is a governing majority of people that sustain it.

The essence of this article is that physical reality exists because we exist, not the other way around. How do we use this knowledge for practical purposes?

Happy Fathers Day

Happy Fathers Day

Today, I would like to wish all the Fathers out there a very, very Happy Fathers Day.

I am sure that you all deserve it. If you are not in contact with you children for whatever reason, make this a day of atonement and contact them, and let them know how much you love them. Go on, do it now.

Fathers are wonderful people

Fathers are wonderful people,
too little understood,
And we do not sing their praises
as often as we should,

For Father struggles daily
to live up to his image
As protector and provider
and hero of the scrimmage,

And perhaps that is the reason
we sometimes get the notion
That fathers are not subject
to the thing we call emotion.

But if you look inside Dad’s heart,
where no one else can see,
You’ll find he’s sentimental
and soft as he can be.

Fathers are just wonderful
in a million different ways,
And they merit loving compliments
and accolades of praise,

For the only reason Dad aspires
to fortune and success
Is to make the family proud of him
and bring them happiness,

And like our heavenly Father,
he’s a guardian and a guide,
Someone we can count on
to be always on our side.

Five Most Interesting Vitamin Deficiency Signs & Symptoms

Most of us take our health and wellbeing for granted. We eat larger amounts of meat than vegetables and we don’t even take into consideration that we probably need extra vitamins and minerals to help our bodies continue to function properly.

Although you may not know it, you might already be experiencing vitamin deficiency. And if you do not seek help or remedy this right away, your nutritional deficiency could lead to many debilitating illnesses and diseases. Why wait until this happens? Get regular medical check-ups and blood tests and arm yourself with information on the different signs and symptoms of different vitamins deficiencies. You can refer to the informative list below to help you get started on your way to optimum health and wellbeing.

1. Prevent osteoporosis and bleeding disorders with Vitamin K. Many people say that calcium is an essential nutrient that can keep your bones and teeth healthy and strong. But even if you have sufficient amounts of calcium in your system, a deficiency in Vitamin K can also lead to bone loss and osteoporosis. This important vitamin aids in coagulating blood and to maintain healthy bone density. Heavy menstrual bleeding (for females), anemia, frequent nosebleeds and even bruising are symptoms of Vitamin K deficiency. Severe deficiency can also lead to hemorrhaging, especially in newborn babies.

2. Prevent anemia and depression with Vitamin B12. Your body uses Vitamin B12 to create red blood cells, the main means of transportation of oxygen throughout your body. Without sufficient amounts of B12, you could develop anemia, or the condition characterized by the lack of red blood cells. It’s sometimes difficult to detect this vitamin deficiency, as its symptoms are similar to those of other illnesses. You might get easily tired and fatigued or you might suddenly have diarrhea or constipation. Nutritional deficiency of Vitamin B12 also results in pale skin and may lead to depression or even dementia.

3. Boost your reproductive health and wellbeing, as well as your heart with Vitamin D. More and more people are starting to avoid exposure to the sun because of the fear of cancer and premature aging. But avoiding the sun can actually lead to Vitamin D deficiency! If you wear sun block everyday and stay in the shade all the time, doctors recommend that you take a vitamin D supplement. Symptoms of this vitamin deficiency include muscle pain, weak bones and even infertility or miscarriages.

4. Maintain healthy eyes with Vitamin A. Did you know that you could go blind if you have severe Vitamin A deficiency? This important vitamin promotes good vision and helps maintain healthy teeth, mucous membranes and skin. If you lack adequate amounts of Vitamin A, you might have poor night vision, dry eyes and rough skin.

5. Stay young with Vitamin E. This potent anti-oxidant helps rebuild and regenerate your body’s cells. Your body also needs it for the maintenance of the nerves and muscles. Symptoms of this vitamin deficiency include age spots, eye cataracts, a decrease in sexual libido and even muscle, liver and bone marrow abnormalities.

We are what we eat, so the old adage goes, and we can take this even further by saying that we become what we eat. Make sure to take care of your health and wellbeing by eating fruits and vegetables with every meal and taking in additional vitamins and minerals every day.

Personal Development and Creating Your Own Way

Creating wealth is not easy, it’s not fun. It takes hard and dedicated work. Diligence is also a factor and most people fail miserably at it. I ran into an associate the other day, who advised me that he stopped his quest for wealth and settled for a job with the city. I congratulated him for his efforts and thought to myself, wow, what a decision, he has made. He has the mindset and the ability to become a multi-millionaire working for himself and he knows this, but he has chosen to go and work for the city. His reasoning was ’security’, and benefits.

I am not one to ever suggest that working for someone else is a bad decision, however I will always suggest that one should always have a plan b, and to never count on a job for security. I have met hoards of people who had their life plan based around their employment, only to have that rug yanked from under them at a time when they least expected it. When I go back into my days of working a job, I was never really happy and always struggling. I also remember my first experience with my ‘good’ government job. I was a secretary of sorts for Cleveland State University.

I had a pretty awesome position, it was somewhat stressful, but I really enjoyed the energy and the comrade that was shared; and my ‘bosses’ were great. I believed I would have worked in that environment for a very long time, if I had been given the choice. The short of the story is, this government facility (a university) had some sort of budget cut and were laying off a few workers. I wasn’t layed off, but ‘bumped to another department. Someone with more seniority took my place, and I had more seniority of the one person who was actually let go. Put another way, I was one person away from losing my job altogether. The young lady I was replacing, was born the exact same day I was. She was really sharp and had decided to take her talents and put them together for herself as she started a mobile flower shop and sold flower and baskets etc., curbside at various locations. I saw her from time to time and she was doing ok as a new entrepreneur.

The ‘bump’ for me, wasn’t too traumatic financially, I only lost 10 cents in pay, and was moved to a more prestigious office -The Dean’s office of Education. I enjoyed my stay there, but it was nothing like the department I was in originally. I eventually quit and decided to also started my own business, and never looked back. However I can’t say it’s all been rosey, but I know that being bumped had a lot to do with many decisions that I have made later in life. I never wanted the feeling of another person or entity controlling my destiny.

Today it is my desire to help others to become entrepreneurs through web2.0. Healthy Tips For the Whole Family

Choose to remain physically active

Avoid using your car for going around to local market if that’s close by. Use a bicycle or go walking. Plan weekends with family such way that includes some activity for all. There are many options. Go swimming, ride a bike or let the family have a game of soccer. Even a dance party is healthy.

Cut down your viewing time

Watching TV seems to have some direct relation to being overweight. That’s because it’s an inactive way of having fun. It takes away the chances of your going out or doing some useful activity within the house and all the time you are left watching commercials of unhealthy foods that you tend to eat. Restrict its viewing, especially for children and at meal times.

Include fish in your meals two times a week.

The American Heart Association supports the idea of eating fish twice a week. Fish offers healthy fats and many other nutrients. Try eating different kinds of fish.

Substitute treats with healthy snacks

Most kids like to have snacks. Instead of chips, colas, and candies or other sweets, try including healthier snacks, keeping in mind to avoid processed foods. Prepare snacks with two different food groups to have better nutrition. Some good options are fruits and nuts, cheese and vegetables with dips, and crackers made from whole grains.

Be wary of added calories from sodas

It’s quite normal for children to like having fruit punch or sodas. These tasty drinks provide excess of calories, but hardly have any nutrients. Help you child to develop a taste for water for quenching their thirst. It’s healthier to offer them low fat milk. Consumption of even 100% juices should be restricted.

Minimize fast food

Fast foods make the unhealthiest diet. These processed foods contain lots of fat, sugar and salt, making them full of calories that are not healthy for heart. You need to work hard to make your children realize the not so healthy ingredients of fast foods. Avoid taking your children out for fast foods. Set and promote good eating habits among children. Eat slowly to enjoy meals rather than having hurried meals while driving to work or dropping kids to school.

Stop smoking

The best thing that you can do for your family is not to smoke. This surely has positive effects on the family. That way you are improving the chances of your children not to opt for this unhealthy deadly habit as they grow up.

Get involved in child’s school

Have a look at the kind of food your child is offered at school. Check if there is time for the child to indulge is some kind of physical activity during the day. If you are not too happy with either, do mention it to the concerned authorities at school.

Controlling Insecurity – First Steps Toward Better Performance

In adolescence, one may learn to feel insecure in academics or in social relationships on account of peer pressure, embarrassing revelations (or threats of revelations), or adult censure. Teenagers may feel insecure in relationships after a traumatic rejection or series of minor rejections. Adults too can feel insecure giving a public presentation or performing any task for which they feel inadequate.

There are of course tasks which, through lack of natural talent or training or exercise or experience, we are less well equipped to perform than other persons. And it would be unwise for us to attempt some tasks. There are good reasons why an inexperienced person should feel insecure when tempted to take control of a large commercial airplane for a landing in dark and foul weather.

But there are many circumstances in which our feelings of insecurity prevent or hinder reasonable action… to say nothing of the unpleasantness of the feelings themselves. Controlling insecurities at such reasonable tasks enables our greater effectiveness, success, and participation in normal life.

Such anxieties range from mild to debilitating, with consequences from minor to life-altering. Among such possibilities, some percentage has sufficient motive to seek a change.

But as usual, humans are complicated beings. It may thus be helpful to illustrate with the case of insecurities because of academic performance.

One may, for example, feel insecure taking a particular class for three possible reasons, none necessarily mutually exclusive.

First, one may feel insecure because one has failed to apply oneself in study and preparation as one should have. Here, anxieties may be controlled in part by exercising greater discipline in work. Such feeling of insecurity is best viewed as a good thing. Some insecurities can encourage one to make positive changes.

Second, one may feel insecure because one lacks the talent and background of one’s peers or in comparison to what is expected in the class. If one is sufficiently motivated, dropping the class and taking the background coursework may help reduce the feelings of anxiety taking the class again later.

As to natural talent, one may choose a different class or course of study, one in which one’s natural talents are greater or in which there is less competition. Or one may accept one’s abilities as secondary. Or one may work the harder in order to compensate for one’s deficiencies in native abilities. The point here is not to say which is the best or proper road, but to say that each choice may have its own effects on one’s level and object of anxiety or confidence.

A third possible reason for insecure feelings might be an unfair or emotionally abusive instructor or fellow student. An instructor may be reasonable and respectful in giving negative feedback about student performance, but in any event many of us find it difficult for our emotions of insecurity to be controlled by reason.

For one thing, we may rightly feel partly at fault for our poor performance. At the same time we may also unreasonably feel at fault for the slur, the ad hominem argument, the over-generalization, the unfair demand. Our insecurities may be partly irrational. Or we may fear the consequences of a partly unfair evaluation on our permanent record.

In other words, often a first step in controlling insecurities is to identify them for what they are. The more vague our identification, the less the chances of targeting the cure to the ailment. Professional therapists often direct patients to such a task, whatever else is done.

In some cases, identifying the sources and natures of anxieties may be easy; others may take time to sort out. And identifying them is also a first step in facing them.

Facing one’s insecurities, or rather what is behind them, is often an effective means of controlling them or of reducing their power. Where the insecurity is based on fear of loss or on threat of loss, that may mean being prepared for negative consequences. Or otherwise in some cases, facing one’s fears may be approached in stages if the anxiety is overwhelming.

Control of difficult feelings of insecurity may be aided in part by other means, depending on the case. Doctors and psychiatrists may of course prescribe certain targeted drugs to help control brain chemistry, and thus the emotions of insecurity. A support group or sympathetic friend may help too.

For those wishing to avoid the negative side effects of drugs, certain herbs, vitamins and nutritional supplements may help, but be sure to consult one’s doctor before taking both drugs and herbs or nutritional supplements. Some essential oils used in aromatherapy or substances used among homeopathic remedies may serve a similar purpose. Controlled breathing often helps too.

All such means are helpful first steps in controlling insecurity.

Next, for an effective means of regaining control over the center of anxiety in the subconscious mind, see the Linden Method for Anxiety or see tips on controlling insecurity in relationships.

Why It Is Important You Make Good Brain Juice Every Day

The human brain is about the size of a small head of cauliflower. It is a knot of 100 billion neurons and support cells. We can store a lifetime of memories there. We use it to write a poem, build a home, hear a song, enjoy a sunset, love and imagine…

The brain performs an incredible number of tasks:

* It controls body temperature, blood pressure, heart rate and breathing

* It accepts a flood of information about the world around you from your various senses: seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, touching…

* It handles physical motion when walking, talking, standing or sitting

* It lets you think, dream, reason and experience emotions

Your brain is full of neurons. A neuron, or nerve cell, is an electrically excitable cell that processes and transmits information by electrical and chemical signalling. Neurons tell your body to move, breathe, and create. They have the amazing ability to gather and transmit electrochemical signals – they are something like the gates and wires in your computer.

Given the brain’s complexity, it requires a highly developed system of communication in order to co-ordinate all of its neurons. This system is based on electrochemical impulses. Like your computer, these impulses travel along circuits.

But unlike computers, these signals are created chemically. These chemical transmissions are called neurotransmitters. And they are responsible for the incredibly rapid communication between neurons. Just imagine how quickly you feel happy when your favourite song starts to play on the radio, or when you see someone you like!

Neurotransmitters transmit information within the brain and from the brain to all the parts of the body. And abnormalities in the production or functioning of certain neurotransmitters have been implicated in a number of diseases including depression.

The effects of a neurotransmitter system depend on the connections of the neurons that use the transmitter, and the chemical properties of the receptors that the transmitter binds to.

This is why it’s so important that you get to make lots of good “brain juice” all the time. Good brain juice means nicely functioning neurotransmitters and good quality chemical transmissions.

Good quality transmissions in your brain means you get to feel good, about yourself and about things. You get to think more clearly, look at things in a more positive light, talk to yourself in more useful ways, and make better decisions.

When you make good brain juice every day, you’ll notice everything goes much more smoothly in your life.

How do you make good brain juice?

As Dr. Richard Bandler (co-creator of Neuro-Linguistic Programming) says, the trick is to feel good for no reason at all, for as long as you can.

Because I know there is something that makes you feel really good. Or that other thing that makes you feel even better!

That thing that when you think about it makes you smile straight away. Allow yourself to fully immerse yourself in that experience now. As you keep going through this memory, close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose. Hold on to this breath for four counts, and exhale slowly for eight counts. After about five counts, you may feel the need to push the remaining air out of your lungs. Notice how much more relaxed and happier you are.

Repeat this process 8-10 times.

Congratulations, you’ve just made some great brain juice!

Take time to do this twice a day for the next two to three weeks, and you’ll find yourself looking happier, and feeling more centred and free.

Is There a Fast Track to Developing Self Confidence?

A Critical Piece Of The Puzzle

I normally don’t recommend taking the fast and easy way to any achievement, especially in the area of self change and personal development. But skills like meditation and visualization and affirmations can take awhile to develop and perfect, and when it comes to the subject of self confidence I have to rethink. The reason for this is that self confidence is an absolutely critical element of the whole success equation and firmly establishing this characteristic as part of our personality will positively impact all of our other efforts in achieving any goal we set ourselves, so it would seem to be a logical first objective, and one of the quickest means of achieving this objective is through self hypnosis.

Once the field of self hypnosis escaped the entertainment arena it gained respectable prominence in a very short time, especially the NLP spin off. Taking all the practical and common sense aspects of the processes by which we are able to place ourselves in a trance like state or level of consciousness and put those processes to work for us in a consciously directed manner is a huge step forward, and while I believe it is a great tool for quick launching self change issues, I don’t think it is the answer to achieving every personal development objective. Having said that, I also believe that when we need an immediate jump start on important issues like self confidence, NLP hypnosis may be just the ticket.

The Constructive Side Of Self Deception

Normally we engage in self deception and denial in order to avoid facing some reality that we are not comfortable with. We do this by simply manipulating our perceptions of things so that they are easier to live with. In the long run this turns out to be a very costly decision, but this is not an article about self deception, it is about how we can take advantage of the strategies and techniques of self deception in order to accomplish positive personal development goals such as developing self confidence. The power of our ability to deceive ourselves is undeniable, so think of the possibilities of putting such a powerhouse to work for us in achieving positive goals.

The first steps in this process are the most difficult and will take a little courage to get rolling. We need to identify certain realities such as what are our strengths and weaknesses. In addition to acknowledging our strengths and assets we need to accept the reality that we are not perfect and neither is anyone else. Self evaluation is one thing, but self criticism is destructive. Recognizing unreasonable expectations is a big step in developing self confidence. Once we get through the self discovery stage we will know what we need to change and can begin to initiate those changes.

Taking The Bull By The Horns

Once we identify problem areas such as unreasonable expectations, excessive self criticism, low self esteem, too much reliance on what others think of us and any number of negative images of ourselves that may revolve around too many failures or parental abuse in the form of psychological and or emotional abuse even if they are as subtle as just being unable to live up to their expectations, we can now begin to replace them with more positive and constructive thinking and behavior patterns. Our negative patterns will suggest their own replacement most of the time and one of the hardest things you will deal with will be the recognition that at some point you bought into a bunch of ideas about yourself that were complete bull crap and you may feel a little embarrassment over this but don’t dwell on it and give it energy to grow. Recognize it, accept it and move on!

NLP hypnosis is one of the better resources for this kind of activity but do your homework there are a lot of pretenders out there as with almost everything these days. The link I provide below will take you to a free e-book on the subject that I found interesting. But once you have identified the problem areas that you need to work on, get up to speed on the latest self hypnosis techniques to begin addressing those issues so you can develop the confidence in yourself necessary to all successful achievement.

There is a great free e-book that explores self confidence here.

Robert Darby is a self change and personal development specialist who writes for many organizations including The Agenda Of Life Foundation He focuses on developing personal power since that is usually the cause of all Human problems. Because he is fearless in his exploration of the true nature of reality, he has become one of the emerging writers of our time.
